Super clean, huge kitchen space and very central location. The common areas are large and great for meetings. They give you free beer! You can't beat that. The staff is friendly and quick to respond. I say, tens, tens, tens across the board!
The best thing I can say about this office is that I feel absolutely welcome when I walk through the door. The staff is extremely friendly and I have enjoyed the other members who utilize the spaces! If you are looking to find a welcoming and friendly space to work and grow your business than this is the place to go!
I had the chance to visit the Yard and work with Adrian. First, not to compare apples and oranges but The Yard: Eastern Market is the best co-working spaces I've visited in DC. Second, the location is amazing. Third, the atmosphere - most co-working spaces feel like a "dorm-room-startup-space", whereas the only word that describes the Yard and their staff - PROFESSIONAL. Lastly, shout out to Adrian for his amazing spirit and work ethic. He'll take good care of all your business needs!
The Yard is one of the best coworking spaces I've been to. The staff, especially Adrian, are always very helpful and accommodating. The location is directly across the street from Eastern Market metro, so it's very easy to get to. There's also a Trader Joes a few feet from the entrance, and who doesn't love Trader Joes. Plus, Le Pain, Peregrine Espresso, Bullfrog Bagel, Orange Theory Fitness...the building sits right in the middle of several cool places. There are plenty of offices, conference rooms, open areas, private desks, etc. Not to mention killer coffee and espresso machines. The windows provide a great view of Eastern Market and the surrounding area.
My friend works at Spaces, and invited me to come hang out there for a bit while I was in town, needing to get some work done. As someone who does most of my work remotely from a Starbucks or other random coffee shop with free Wi-Fi. Talk about an upgrade! I haven't been to a ton of coworking spaces, but if they're all like this, I can definitely get on board. The decor is awesome and is a much better environment for getting work done than what I'm used to.
Spaces is a co-working shared office, but I was first introduced to it by going to the summer yoga series on the Spaces patio. Super fun and the view is amazing. I was also invited to stay for a couple of the office happy hours. The people are nice and I can't wait for the next event!
