1002 Dean Street is a historic 150,000-square-foot commercial building located in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn. Built in the 1920s, the building formerly served as a Studebaker Service Station. The building was purchased in 2012 and following a year-and-a-half renovation, leasing began in the Spring of 2014.
1002 Dean St. has been reimagined as a hub for the creative community of 21st century Brooklyn. The offices and studios on the upper floors have been designed to address the needs of the Brooklyn small-business community and are anchored on the ground level by a restaurant.
The building’s street-level restaurant houses Berg’n, a 9,000-square-foot food and beer hall operated by the founders of the Brooklyn Flea and Smorgasburg, and features food from Bread & Salt, Mighty Quinn’s BBQ, Landhaus, and Lumpia Shack.

I have worked in many co-working spaces in the past (WeWork, Regus, The Yard..) and have now moved our offices to Ignitia in Brooklyn. I really love working here, the staff is not only very friendly but also eager to help us grow our business. The design of the space itself is probably one of the nicest I have seen and reflects well on our company. The coffee bar is great and even includes cold brew on tap! Love it

Easily the nicest co-working space in New York City! Great community, beautiful, spacious, stylish, open design, awesome perks. It's convenient having food and drinks at Berg'n on the same floor for easy meals and celebrations.
