About

High ceilings, original wood beams, and raw brick walls nod to the building’s industrial past, while thoughtfully curated furniture provides ample workspace both indoors and out on our two roof decks. At its core, an iconic modern staircase divides this Brooklyn space into distinct areas for a variety of different uses such as production and editing.

I've rented office space in places like this for many years - always in Manhattan until this year. Since January, I've been working here and has easily become my favorite office in over 10 years They did an amazing job renovating this place - the staff is fantastic - free coffee - free beer on tap - no need for a monthly metro card. Between the coffee, beer and metro card, that saves me $200+ per month - plus the headache of taking the train every day at rush hour. 24 hr access and lots comfy places to sit and work (outside your own office) make it ideal for getting a little work done on the weekends. If you're an independent professional and live anywhere near Gowanus, I'd recommend checking it out. It may or may not be your style, but it's a good place to start.

I've been working out of Coworkrs Gowanus for a few months now and while I always liked it, in the past month I've officially become obsessed. They built on two more floors that are decorated to perfection. There's a million different options for work areas, so you can work at a desk, long communal table, couch, comfy chairs, and they even just put in these super comfy hanging crochet bucket seats. The staff is super friendly, and the amenities are great, lots of fun events, brooklyn roasting coffee, fast wifi, tons of outlets - you couldn't ask for much else. AND it's pet friendly, there's a handful of adorable office puppies that definitely brighten up my workdays. They also let you go to their other locations if your a member of any one, so if I'm randomly in Flatiron or FiDi vs Brooklyn, I've got a space available to me. Can't say enough about Coworkrs, they're doing it right, I'll definitely be working from here for the foreseeable future.
