I opened my law practice at the Port, and is was great, especially for someone just starting out who did not want to pay the overhead for a big private office at the outset. The conference rooms are nice and many of my clients were impressed with the space (including the art). There are plenty of other amenities, like printer, coffee, refrigerator, confidential shredder, and community events that make it a fun and pleasant place to work or just pass through to pick up mail. Because of the community events there are lots of opportunities to network. The staff is kind and responsive.

This is the best coworking community I have experienced in the Bay Area, primarily because it actually feels like a community and not a scene. They have tons of free/affordable events and it's very easy to strike up a conversation with fellow coworkers. The prices are also way more reasonable than any of the coworking spaces in the East Bay, and they have FOUR locations in the East Bay. Totally love The Port.

I worked at Oakstop for a few days over 3 weeks to help with text banking as a contract worker for Vote.org. The space was very nice and easily accessible by BART, which was nice because some of the work shifts started as early as 6am. Upon entering, there are three floors of various workspaces and bathrooms on each floor. I worked primarily in the basement. A large room with lots of desks and laptops so people could work. It could get a little hot and noisy with the number of people coming in and out at all hours, but it was good for what it was. I can see how artists and scholars and community members could utilize the various rooms and space for a diverse array of projects. It was a great place to work and I'd love to come back in the future for more events.

I've got to say - THIS PLACE ROCKS! I own a real estate company and we operate out of here. My co-workers and I really love the space and the community - it's been wonderful being a part of it from the start. The owners at Temescal Works have done a great job attracting really good residents - there are a lot of creative and entrepreneurial juices flowing through here! The rates are reasonable and the service is top notch. Zero complaints! Can't wait to continue growing together!!

Awesome new co-working space in Temescal! Great working environment with all the amenities you could need, plenty of space and thanks to the open plan two levels, it feels very airy! Definitely recommend you check it out if you work in the area.
